Bowls

Leeuwin Ladies came second in I.L.R.R. Pairs at Donnybrook last week.  Blackwood won for the first time ever.  Great result for the two small leagues.

Leeuwin had four ladies chosen to go onto I.Z.R.R.  They were Pat Manton & Jill Winter (Dunsborough) and Dee Harrison & Helen Reid (Augusta)

The Men’s Bootleg Championship Pairs final was played on Sunday.

Winners:  Geoff Benn & Clint Kelly.  Runners Up:  Rod Grist & Gary Davies

Plate Winners:  Kelly Allsop & Kevin Gibb.  Runners Up:  Dennis Frost & Merv Mott

Mixed Scroungers is being played on Tuesday afternoon.  1.00pm arrival for a 1.30pm start.  All welcome

Men’s Thursday Social Bowls attracted 42 bowlers who played 3 bowl triples for the afternoon.  New bowlers and guests are all welcome.

Croquet 

Last Friday night being Friday 13th, the Croquet section decorated the dining area of the Club in black.  It looked fantastic as always.  The extra effort was well worth it.

Mahjong

The Dunsborough Mahjong Group meets  on Tuesday afternoons at 1.00pm.  New members are always welcome.

Kirsty is cooking  at the club this Friday evening.  Get your friends together and come enjoy a great evening of dining and laughing.  Please have your bookings in by midday Friday to avoid disappointment. The Members  Jackpot draw was not won on Friday.  The jackpot will be $500 this week.   Members must be financial and present to claim.  The draw will be held in the club rooms between 5.30pm – 6.30pm.
