    *********************

    ENDURO EVENT

    Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st July

This event is being held this weekend and is made up of 7 separate downhill runs.  Each age category and gender have different runs to do, with the top men’s age groups doing all 7 runs. The fastest combined time over all the runs produces the winners. Once at the bottom of each run, cyclists must get themselves back to the top to do the next run.  You only get 1 attempt at each run so any falls or bike fails can destroy your chances!  They have a set time period to complete all  their runs.

We encourage members to come and watch all events but watching the little kids race is incredible!!!!  The atmosphere at these events is epic!!!

Come along and join the fun over the weekend!!

    Hi riders,

Hope you are enjoying this lovely weather and trails this school holidays.

The blue/ white tape around the trails marks downhill runs for Sunday’s WAGE event, part of the State Series, so watch out for downhillers flying around some trails.

If you would like to volunteer on Sunday, please check out Facebook Cape Mountain Bikers page and indicate your interest there.

Otherwise, keep safe and have fun!

      TENNIS SENIORS NATIONAL TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP

A reminder that the Tennis Seniors National Teams Championship event will be held at Busselton & Bunbury Tennis Clubs from 5 January 2020.  The first week will be a Teams event and the second will be Individuals.

Teams are placed in 5 year age groups.  You are able to play down an age group – i.e. if you are 45 years you are able to play in an Over 40’s team, or if you are Over 55 you can also play with an Over 40’s team, but of course if most of your team is Over 50 years you would be best placed to play in the age group which fits the ages of your players.  Team entry is $750.00 – if you have 6 team members you will only be paying $120.00 for a full week of playing tennis.

You are able to nominate a team to play in this event.  (see attached information sheet).  If you would like to be placed in a team you can submit an Individual Nomination to Tennis Seniors and they will attempt to place you in a suitable team.
