Erica Littlefair came to her first game of Snakes & Ladders last Saturday and she just might come back! Erica scored 4 pts to place third behind the winnner Kevin Nichols and Andre Gil who followed his second place position last week. All games were close and the winners had count-backs. Well done everyone.
Croquet News
David Morris continues to improve and impress!
This description of David’s play in the ACA Patron’s Trophy competition held at Moorabinda in June taken from the magazine “Croquet Australia” (No. 261 – Autumn 2015) testifies to David’s continued upward spiral in state standing. Keep it up David.
The most outstanding performance (other than Ian)
was that of David Morris from Dunsborough Croquet Club
who, having been beaten in the first round, proceeded
to dispose of 2 WA state representatives in Y block before
being beaten by Kathleen Colclough two/1 in the final.

Women’s World Croquet
We would like to acknowledge the success of one of Moorabinda’s players and one of our mentors, Janine Hawker, in the Women’s World Croquet Championship just held in Nottingham, England.
Janine made it into the quarter finals, which puts her in the top eight worldwide in women’s croquet. Well done Janine.

Twelve DDCC Tennis Members enjoyed an evening at Artezen Café following tennis on Saturday 1 August. We can all confirm the tapas and bar are fabulous with top class staff.

Member’s Jackpot Draw
